1. You will be assigned a partner. Together you will complete a research project. 2. You will be assigned a Genocide to research: A. Native Americans in North America by colonial settlers B. Armenian Genocide C. Rwandan Genocide/War D. Uyghur Genocide in China E. Cambodian Genocide F. Darfur Genocide G. Holodomor (Ukrainian Terror Famine) H. Fall of the Aztec Empire 3. Independently conduct thoughtful and thorough research on a specific genocide that has been assigned to you. You will be using a research pathfinder through the MCHS Library website to guide our research (LINK ATTACHED) Keep track of your sources for the sources cited slide. Use a sheet of paper to take notes. Your notes will be collected for classwork points. 4. Using a shared Google Slides document, work together to create an informative and engaging slideshow presentation that contains the details required to understand the genocide that your group has been assigned. Your slideshow must consist of at least 3 meaningful slides that answer the following questions: “WHO?”, “WHAT?”, “WHEN?”, “WHERE?”, “WHY?”, and “HOW?”. Your information must come from at least 2 reputable sources. Use charts, graphs and other creative devices to make your presentation riveting. Don’t forget to include a properly formatted Works Cited slide at the end of your presentation for sources of information, as well as an Images Cited slide with links to your images.
